Today is the last day of August. I feel it should also be the last day of my time off from writing a regular Bible study (Homily) for the ASYGR Google group. I have some topics and areas of interest in mind that I will cover. And one aspect of writing to ya’ll has always occupied my mind: fomenting a greater understanding for what it means to be a Christian.

It is my desire to reach all kinds of people who would/ could benefit from considering God’s word. And to this end, I have a proposal…  

Some time ago we elected our group to become private. And the ASYGR group members are, and will continue to be a “closed” email list. However, in the interest in spreading the word, I would like to invite non-members to receive our Bible related content. You can forward messages to folks you know if you feel led to, and/ or if you know of people who might like to get a weekly Bible message in their email, you can give me their name and email address and I would be happy add them to a CC: list called “ASYGR Friends” or something like that.   

What do you all think of this?
